Fancast: Game of Thrones Actors as Marvel Characters Part 2
Game of Thrones has come to an end this past Sunday and we are now left with a Westerosi sized hole in our hearts. Many fans were disappointed with the writing and pacing of the final season, but one thing that GOT never lacked was superb acting. In total, the cast was nominated for 17 individual Emmy awards (Dinklage: 7, Headey: 4, Clarke: 3, Harrington, Coster-Waldau, and Williams: 1 each) and won 3 (Dinklage won all 3). This expansive cast brought their A-game every episode and took the show to new levels. These actors’ Game of Thrones careers may have come to an end, but we expect to see their faces for many years. It would make sense that these actors could move into another cultural phenomenon, superhero movies. Many will claim that superhero fatigue is going to take its toll on the audience and more importantly the box office, but these films show no signs of slowing down. I decided to fancast these actors as Marvel characters.
